How do I place an online order?
Customers can place an order online by logging into our website (customers who do not have an account must create one online, a link is provided on the login page); by adding items to your basket or creating an estimate through Easy PC Designer or Expert PC Designer, a customer can place an order by completing the process and paying a deposit on the items ordered. After placing an order you will be contacted by the sales department to verify your order and finalize the process. At this point no changes will be permitted.
Customers who do not want to pay by Credit Card have the option to pass by the store and place an order with our sales department.
- Add whatever items you would like to purchase into your shopping cart. Once you are satisfied, start the checkout phase. It is at this time that you will choose whether you will be picking up the order at Sigmawave or if the order will be shipped. Once the checkout phase is complete, a weborder (aka an estimate) will be created.
- The weborder will be received by a member of the Sigmawave staff. He/she will verify the order, making sure the prices are correct and double checking the availability for you. If there are any obvious mistakes (for example, an AMD CPU on an Intel Motherboard), he/she will contact you. Should you have chosen to have the order shipped to you, the shipping charge will be added at this time.
- The weborder shall then be confirmed by us and you will be contacted via email. You will then have the choice to complete you order. If you are satisfied with the prices, the availability and the shipping costs (if applicable), you will then be asked to either leave a deposit or to pay the full amount towards the weborder. You have a 24 hour period to make a payment.
If you no longer wish to place the order for whatever reason, simply do not make a payment and it will be cancelled on its own after the 24 hours have elapsed. Once a weborder has been cancelled, it can be re-activated by contacting the staff at Sigmawave.
- Assuming you have sent a payment, Sigmawave will process the weborder. Once the order is ready, Sigmawave will contact you. Depending on what you have chosen previously, you may then pickup the order or it will be shipped to you. If applicable, the tracking number(s) will be emailed to you.
How do I pay for my orders?
Credit Cards are accepted for on-line orders. Credit cards, cash, Interac, certified cheques, and bank drafts are accepted in store. A 2.5% discount rate applies to all invoices paid with cash, Interac, certified cheques, and bank drafts. Any payments made by non-certified cheques (such as personal or company cheques) will be subject to delays while they are processed except with clients having established NET terms. Canadian and US Credit Cards ONLY.
Please note that the listed prices are already cash discounted. This discount is applicable ONLY for payment by cash/Interac/certified cheque. Payment by credit card (MasterCard and VISA only) will lose the 2.5% special discount (non-discount regular price).
All prices listed on the Sigmawave web site, Expert PC Designer, or Easy PC Designer reflect prices selling at Informatique Sigmawave Inc. on the indicated date of database update. They are subject to change without notice. All prices are already cash discounted and in Canadian dollars.

How does Sigmawave protect my identity?
Sigmawave will be collecting your name, address payment information, user name, password and e-mail address for ordering purposes. Any e-mail addresses collected by Sigmawave through customer service, estimates, orders, or e-mail inquiries might be subscribed to a newsletter. You will be able to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Sigmawave will restrict access to your information to those needing it such as Credit Card service providers.
For your security Sigmawve employees do not have access to your account password or credit card information. If a password is lost then it must be reset.
How long does it take to assemble a system or receive parts?
Any system purchase requires approximately 7 to 10 estimated working days to prepare. The amount of time may vary depending on the availability of the system component(s) and the status of the computer system.

What are my shipping choices?
After an order is placed customers will be contacted by Sigmawave�s sales department. Customers will have the choice of their favored shipping method within reason or the possibility of a local pick-up.
Sigmawave will not be responsible for potential custom duties and/or any brokerage fees. Sigmawave will ship to Canada and the US only. Sales of certain product lines may be restricted to the region of Quebec.
How does Sigmawave price items?
Computer systems or parts are priced on the date when the order is made, not priced on the date of delivery. Informatique Sigmawave Inc. has no control of the fluctuation of the price (such as price drop) during the period of preparation of an order.
What does parts warranty entail?
Sigmawave shall offer a Fourteen Day Replacement Warranty on all items sold as parts. A defective part within the first 14 days following the purchase may be returned for replacement. Sigmawave shall not be responsible to offer a direct replacement for the defective part. The replacement time span is fully determined by the replacement policy of the manufacturer. Physical damage to a part caused by user mishandling is not covered by any warranty. Our technicians will inspect any part returned for replacement to ensure it has no physical damages.
After the fourteen days Sigmawave shall give the client the option to handle the manufacturers� warranty with a fee charged for shipping and handling.
Can I return Items I�m not happy with?
Sigmawave, at its sole discretion, may/may not accept an item to be returned within the Fourteen Day grace period. Only in the rarest of cases will Sigmawave offer an in-store credit and/or a refund. A 15% restocking fee may be charged at Sigmawave sole discretion.
A part returned to Sigmawave for refund or credit MUST be returned in its original condition. This includes, but is not limited to, undamaged manuals, accessories, software, and the original box and its packaging. Opened software packages can not be returned.
